Why do Teslas need paint protection?
Tesla vehicles are made with VOC-compliant paint systems. This means that the paint is thinner and more fragile than traditional high solvent content automotive paint. AFTER CARE
We will provide you with a complete list of after care instructions and recommended products that will help you maintain your protected vehicle so that it stays looking as new as possible for as long as possible. We recommend touch-less car washes (no brushes) and hand washing with microfibres mitts to avoid abrading the paint.
First Wash is On Us
After paint protection is installed, do not wash your car for at least 14 days. Within the first 30 days of your appointment, you are invited to bring your Tesla back to our shop so that we can give it the first wash. The point of this exercise is to ensure quality, and make sure everything is working properly. This typically takes 30-45 minutes. You’re welcome to relax in our lobby and help yourself to refreshments. We can show you how to properly maintain the vehicle and give you some insight as to why we do things a certain way. Everything we do is designed to protect your vehicle and create a pleasant experience while doing it.
